The hexagonal design is both functional and artistically attractive. Each apartment can be easily cleaned individually and they're constructed of rust-free aluminum to dissipate heat. All of the six apartments measure 9" wide at the front, 3" wide at the back, 6" deep, and 6" tall to give each martin family sufficient room. Drainage and ventilation holes throughout keep the nests fresh and dry and rails extend around the exterior to help keep . Plastic door stops are included to close the house off to squatter birds.
