    The only REAL squirrel-proof feeder IMO!

    I have two of these. The older one is green metal; on the newer one, the green part is plastic. Squirrels cannot hang upside down from the top and feed from the ports b/c the seed tube is too long. If they try to jump to a perch, the perch falls down b/c the squirrel is too heavy and the squirrel dumps to the ground. The only way a squirrel gets into this feeder is if you mount it in a way/place where the squirrel can sit nearby and reach the ports. Best feeder ever IMO!! Even my newer one with plastic parts is probably 5+ years old. It did get some chewing marks around the port, but nothing affecting performance. I wish they didn't switch to plastic, but still a great feeder.

    Feeders hold a large amount of various seeds, and I really enjoy that I only have to fill them once a week. I primarily use black oil sunflower & safflower. I bought two feeders and am happy I did!
