A sturdy weatherproof stand is included. Using the hardware included, the bath is also easily mounted to a wooden deck rail. Supplies ice-free water all winter long. Will not crack in winter. Thermostatically controlled heater. Heating element is completely hidden beneath bird bath surface. 150 Watts of power. Use year round, remove cord when not used. 

The unit is thermostatically controlled, 20" in diameter and has been tested in -20F conditions. The Bird Bath comes with hardware which will mount the bath to almost any pedestal (Stone or plastic) up to 12" in diameter, or any deck railing up to 12" wide.

Time Will Tell

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my wife. The design is fairly straightforward and should be okay for temporary use. I am, however, disappointed with the stand. The design of the clamping action that squeezes around the upper and lower tripod assemblies is nearly impossible to tighten without stripping out the head of the small Phillips machine screw. I will probably drill it out and use a through bolt when we set it up next winter.

I just got my two heated bird baths , put only one out for now , as i watched the birds they just kept flying around it and then landed and took a drink . easy to put together and had some heavy winds and still there , not even did the water splash out . very satisfied

Nice heated bird bath

Have only had a few freezing days so far, but seems to work fine. Bowl easy to tip water out to clean and refill. I’d buy it again.
